Prodigal by the Artless Theatre Co. Saturday, 3rd October at 7:30pm.

“But while he was still a long way off,
his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him;
he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

Luke 15:20 (NIV)

A modern retelling of the parable of the two sons, prodigal explores Jesus’s timeless story of unconditional love, identity and return through the life of Sonny, an aspiring musician who leaves home to chase his dream of ‘going viral’.

Prodigal is a captivating blend of theatre, music and live cinema and has been made with outreach at its heart, performed in the church hall.

Prodigal has been created for an audience aged 11+ (secondary school up) in mind, as there is a depiction of alcohol and drug use.
