“For the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all”.

...Haunted by his past, an enemy in a foreign land.
In a single moment, a soldier’s world turns upside down...

Told from the perspective of Pontius Pilate and the Roman officer who would witness the crucifixion, Centurion is an exploration of guilt and forgiveness, betrayal and redemption, all set against the earthshaking backdrop of Jesus’s death and resurrection.

Centurion is more than a retelling of the Easter story, it is an immersive experience that confronts audiences with the person of Jesus, the context of his death, and the broken people he came to save.

Sat in-the-round and wearing state-of-the-art wireless headphones, audiences are placed in the centre of the story through a blend of live performance and 3D audio scenes. Using binaural audio technology, the play's sights and sounds immerse you in the settings and events of the Gospels, with every word delivered as if spoken directly to you.

Centurion is suitable for ages 11+ (secondary school up) mainly due to the themes and realistic audio depiction of crucifixion.
